Curriculum Vitae
MATTHIAS GRÄSER was born in Neuwied, Germany in 1982. He received his Dipl.-Ing. in Mechatronics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and his PhD from the University of Lübeck. He worked as a research scientist at the Institute of Medical Engineering from 2011 until 2016 and then started as group leader for the research area of Instrumentation at the Institute of Biomedical Imaging of the Technical University Hamburg and the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf until 2021. He is now a professor of imaging instrumentation in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Individualized and Cell-Based Medical Engineering.
