Curriculum Vitae

MILAN ZVOLSKÝ was born in Bonn, Germany in 1986. He studied in Cologne and Hamburg and received his M.Sc. in physics in 2012 from the university of Hamburg. During his studies, he was mainly interested in particle physics and solid state physics. The topic of his Master’s thesis was the search for supersymmetry with the ATLAS detector. He worked as a PhD student at DESY and the university of Hamburg, Institut für Experimentalphysik. The thesis with the title „Simulation, Image Reconstruction and SiPM Characterisation for a Novel Endoscopic Positron Emission Tomography Detector“ was defended in late 2017. Since January 2018 he works as a research scientist at the Institute of Medical Engineering in the field of nuclear imaging.
