Curriculum Vitae

Annika Dell was born in Covington, Louisiana, USA in 1997. She received her Master of Science in Medical Engineering Science from the University of Lübeck in 2022. Her bachelor’s thesis focused on 3D printing vascular structures that emulate real patient vasculature. Her master’s thesis focused on bioprinting using human cells, with the goal to replace lost or damaged tissues in patients. To pursue this goal, she joined the Fraunhofer IMTE as a researcher in 2022 to continue working on bioprinting, as well as the development of realistic patient phantoms.
